WIDOCRYL-Concrete Primer PM

WIDOCRYL-Concrete Primer PM is a low viscosity, colorless, 2 component reactive resin consisting of methyl methacrylate (MMA), and hardener powder.

Application

WIDOCRYL-Concrete Primer is used as a special priming coat with very good adhesion on damp concrete substrates. We strongly recommend with all WIDOCRYL-Primers that curing and adhesion tests are conducted on particular substrate prior to general use on site.

Storage
If container is kept closed and storage temperature held constantly between + 15°C und + 20°C, the product may be used for up to 6 months.

Surface preparation

The surface must be solid and free of dust, fat and oil. Loose and hollow tiles must be removed. Laitance and loose particles must be removed thoroughly, e. g. by shot blasting.

Mixing

It should be noted that the amount of catalyst powder to be added depends upon the substrate temperature. For further details, see container lid.

The primer should be applied as a sealed film with blanket coverage and in principle should be sprinkled with quartz sand of grain size 0.3 – 0.8 mm. If this cannot be achieved within one working process, a second priming layer has to be applied (note: only the top layer should be sprinkled with quartz sand).
