WIDOCRYL-Primer CP

WIDOCRYL-Primer CP is a low viscous, colorless reactive resin, based on methyl methacrylate and a hardener powder.

Application

WIDOCRYL-Primer CP is suitable for the use on mineral surfaces such as concrete or screed. The primer may only be used without adding additional substances (apart from WIDOPAN Hardener). Generally, tests have to be carried out with regards to curing and adhesion to the surface.

Storage
If container is kept closed and storage temperature held constantly between +15° and +20°C, the product may be used for up to 6 months.

Surface preparation

The surface to be primed has to be dry (max. 4% residual moisture), free from dust, grease and oil and have good adhesion and load-bearing properties.  Hollow spots as well as hollow laying tiles need to be removed.

Mixing

The amount of hardener required depends on the temperature. Please see container lid for details.

The primer should be applied as a film, pore sealing and should basically be sprinkled with quartz sand (grain size 0,3 – 0,8mm). If this cannot be achieved within one working process, a second priming layer has to be applied.
